       范恩貴，復(fù)旦大學(xué)、博士生導(dǎo)師,主要研究方向：可積系統(tǒng)、和反散射理論；主持國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金、上海曙光計(jì)劃等多項(xiàng)研究課題。 在 《Adv. Math. 》、 《Comm. Math. Phys.》、《SIAM J. Math. Anal.》、《J. Diff. Equ.》等國(guó)際重要期刊發(fā)表論文150余篇。應(yīng)邀訪問(wèn)美國(guó)密蘇里大學(xué)、密西根州立大學(xué)、德克薩斯大學(xué)、日本京都大學(xué)、香港大學(xué)等。曾獲教育部自然科學(xué)二等獎(jiǎng)、上海市自然科學(xué)二等獎(jiǎng)、復(fù)旦大學(xué)谷超豪數(shù)學(xué)獎(jiǎng)

報(bào)告摘要：

       We address the Painleve asymptotics of the solution in two transition regionsfor the defocusing nonlinear Schrodinger (NLS) equation with finite density initial data. The key to prove this result is the formulation and analysis of a Riemann-Hilbert problem associated with the Cauchy problem for the defocusing NLS equation. With the Dbar generalization of the Deift-Zhou nonlinear steepest descent method and double scaling limit technique, in two transition regions, we find that the leading order approximation to the solution of the defocusing NLS equation can be expressed in terms of the Hastings-McLeod solution of the Painleve II.
