報告人簡介：

      Zhijun (George) Qiao， 現(xiàn)任美國德克薩斯大學數(shù)學學院首席教授。1997年獲得復旦大學數(shù)學系博士學位，師從谷超豪院士和胡和生院士。1999年獲全國百篇優(yōu)秀博士論文，1999-2001年在德國卡塞爾大學數(shù)學系任洪堡學者。研究方向是非線性偏微分方程，可積系統(tǒng)與非線性尖孤波，KdV方程和孤立子理論，可積辛映射，R-矩陣理論，雷達圖像處理和數(shù)學物理的反問題。主持完成國家級項目20余項；在《Communications in Mathematical Physics》、《Journal of Nonlinear Science》、《Journal of Differential Equations》等著名國際刊物發(fā)表學術(shù)論文160余篇，出版著作2部；在全世界公認的五大數(shù)學物理學術(shù)組織擔任會員；在數(shù)學物理領(lǐng)域內(nèi)的六大一流國際期刊擔任編委；將近百次被邀請在國際研討會和專業(yè)學術(shù)會議上做主題發(fā)言與專題報告和學術(shù)報告，也在世界各地組織了20多次國際會議、研討會。

報告摘要： 

       In this talk, we introduce some higher order models with peakons or pseudo-peakons we proposed recently. We also present new type of peakon solutions of partial differential equations, called rogue peakons provided with a non-traveling wave. Some linear and nonlinear models are taken to illustrate the rogue peakon solutions. Some open problems will be addressed for discussion in the end. Part of work is joint with Dr. Baoqiang Xia, Dr. Quansheng Liu, and Dr. Enrique Reyes et al.
